Monday Housekeeping – Daily Life at St. Augustine’s House –

The second of the “Little Hours” is at noon and is called “Sext” because it is at the sixth hour of the day. Like Terce, it lasts about 10-15 minutes and includes the same parts. The noon hour reminds us of the hour when Jesus was hung on the cross.
